FC Milwaukee's Elite Clubs National League Schedule Released

June 19, 2009. The regular-season schedule for the inaugural season of the Elite Clubs National League (“ECNL”) was released on June 12, 2009, including FC Milwaukee’s opponents for the year. The ECNL features 40 of the top girls soccer clubs throughout the country competing in two divisions at three different age groups, (Under-15, Under-16, and Under-17). Teams will be competing for the ECNL National Championship, the ECNL Club National Championship, and promotion and relegation between the divisions.

FC Milwaukee Will Be Sending 5 (Maybe 6) teams to Midwest Regional Championships in South Dakota

Appleton, WI – This past weekend the FC Milwaukee U13 and U14 Boys and Girls all played for the Wisconsin State Championship. The U14 Girls won the title with a 3-0 victory over Allouez while the U13 Girls, U13 Boys and U14 Boys Blue teams all lost by a single goal. The club will be represented by State Cup Champions, the U18 Girls Blue, U17 Girls Blue, U15 Girls Blue and U14 Girls Blue at the Midwest Regional Championships. The U13 Girls Blue will be attending Regional Cup as a Wild Card representative and the U19 Girls are currently in a 3 team round-robin for the State Championship.

FC Milwaukee Teams Shine At Midwest Cup in St. Charles

St. Charles - FC Milwaukee sent multiple teams to Campton United’s Midwest Cup. On the Memorial Day Weekend our teams put on inspiring performances.

The U11 Boys Blue went 4-0 on their way to the finals before losing 3-2 to Campton United. The U11 Girls Blue went undefeated but could not get past the tiebreaker to advance to the elimination stage.

The U12 Boys went undefeated en route to their first tournament championship. They sealed the championship with a 2-1 victory over Campton.

The U13 Girls White placed 2nd for the 2nd time this year losing in the always heartbreaking penalty kick shootout.

The U13 Girls Red (team made up of all U12's) reached the finals only to fall short in the championship match.

The U13 Boys red (team made up of all U12's), like the U11 Girls Blue, performed well enough to have no defeats but fell short of advancing in tiebreakers.

FC Milwaukee U14 and Under Teams Advance to State Cup Semi Finals

Appleton - The FC Milwaukee U13 Girls Blue, U13 Boys Blue, U14 Girls Blue and U14 Boys Blue all advanced to the Semi-Finals of the 2009 Wisconsin State Cup. 

The U13 Girls Blue team went undefeated in 3 straight contests scoring 18 goals total. 

The U13 Boys Blue team beat all comers scoring 12 goals in the 3 games. 

The U14 Girls Blue repeated the same feat scoring 17 goals in 3 contests. 

The U14 Boys Blue needed a tie or a win over the Madison 56ers in their 3rd game to advance to the knockout stage. In an up and down affair the boys secured advancement with a 0-0 tie.

FC Development Academy Continues Success at Spring Showcase

May 26, 2009. The FC Milwaukee USSDA Program continued its month-long run of success this past weekend in Sarasota, Florida at the US Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase. All 75 USSDA clubs participated in the Spring Showcase, with each team playing 3 games over 4 days, and participating in the patented SPARQ Athletic Testing on the off-day. FC Milwaukee's USSDA teams combined to post 4 wins and 2 losses over the weekend. The U18 team defeated the New England Revolution (MA) 1-0 and FC Portland (OR) 1-0 after an opening loss to the Clearwater Chargers (FL) 1-4. The U16 team defeated the Clearwater Chargers (FL) 4-1 and FC Portland (OR) 8-2, while dropping a tough 1-2 loss to the New England Revolution (MA).
