5 of 6 Teams Entered In The Tournament Will Compete In Today's State Title Deciding Matches, 4 of 5 Semi-Final Winners Shutout Their Opponents
Appleton, WI- FC Milwaukee Nationals' U13 Boys United States Development Academy (USSDA) Juniors; U13 Girls Blue; U14 Boys USSDA Juniors; U14 Girls White (2nd Team); and U15 Boys USSDA Juniors will compete in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association's State Chapmpionship matches today, at the USA Youth Soccer Complex in Appleton, WI.
The U15 Boys USSDA Juniors will play Kenosha Area Soccer League (KASL) United FC in today's first match. The game is scheduled to kick off at 10:00am, on field 10. Coach Mark Lambrecht's U15s defeated Milwaukee Bavarians 1-0 in the semi-final to earn a championship contending berth.
Laura Culhanne's U13 Girls Blue defeated Brookfield Red Premier 1-0 to advance to the final. Their final match is against Madison 56ers Red at 11:00am, on field 15.
Kicking off simultaneously at 11:00am, on field 9, the U14 Girls White face off against Mequon United U14 Girls Premier. Coach Tony Wright's squad drew 1-1 in regulation before winning 4-1 in a penalty kick shoot out over United Soccer of Allouez (USA) Stride.
FC Milwaukee National's U13 Boys USSDA Juniors will battle it out with KASL United FC at 1:30pm, on field 15. Coach Chris McCreary's side shutout Milwaukee Bavarians 2-0 to advance to today's title match.
The U14 Boys USSDA Juniors also earned a shutout over the Milwaukee Bavarians in a semi-final match that ended 3-0. Director of Coaching Peter Knezic's team will compete with North Shore United for the championship in a game scheduled to kick off at 1:30pm, on field 9.
