FC Milwaukee Named Top 20 Girls Club In United States by Soccer America

FC Milwaukee Nationals was named the # 19 girls soccer club in the United by Soccer America. The ranking is based on success of FC Milwaukee teams in national youth competitions over the last three years (2009-11) and the selection of their players to national youth teams and other national achievements in 2011.

This is the first top-20 appearance of FC Milwaukee in the rankings, bolstered largely by the 2011 USYS National Championship won by the FC Milwaukee U18 girls in Phoenix, AZ in July. The championship was the first youth national championship in Wisconsin history, boys or girls. In addition, FC Milwaukee U18 Brittany Von Reuden was selected to multiple US Soccer U18 Youth National Team camps in 2011.

Other accomplishments by FC Milwaukee Nationals' girls teams in this time-frame include:

    2010 ECNL "A" Flight 6th Place Finish (U17 Girls)
    2010 USYS Regional Finalist (U18 Girls)
    2010 USYS Regional Semi-Finalists (U16, U19 Girls)
