Marsch reportedly finalist for Fire job

Former FC Milwaukee player and Racine native Jesse Marsch, who has played in all 14 seasons of Major League Soccer, is one of two finalists for the Chicago Fire's coaching vacancy, Soccer America reported.

Marsch, 36, was part of the first three MLS Cup champions, with D.C. United in 1996 and '97 and the Fire in 1998. The midfielder played eight years with Chicago, also winning U.S. Open Cup titles in 1998, 2000 and 2003, before going to Chivas USA in the expansion draft after the 2005 season.
