Hello FC Milwaukee families.  It is registration time again for our junior players.  We are excited about providing another educational and enjoyable year for our youngest members in the 2008-2009 season.

Please note that FC Milwaukee will not be having U10 teams during the 2008-2009 season (see information below), unless it is a team made up of U9 age eligible players.  In that case, the team will play a U10 schedule.  

U10 Eligible Players

As many in the soccer community know, FC Milwaukee’s current contract with the Milwaukee Kickers limits the number of recreational (U10 and under players) we can register with FC Milwaukee.  Due to this number constraint, we have decided to require all U10 age group players to tryout at the U11 age group for the 2008-2009 season. 

We came to this decision for two reasons.  First and foremost, in the past 5 years we have had success creating and facilitating talented U10 teams playing at the U11 age group.  Secondly, in this past season for the first time in the history of our program we have had to turn away talented players. 

For the 2008-2009 season, along with our regular U11 age appropriate teams, we will have one U11 boys teams comprised of U10’s, and one U11 girls team comprised of U10’s.  The remaining ten U10 positions will be used for our remaining U11 or U12 select teams in FC Milwaukee or FC Milwaukee-Menomonee Falls.
